Dr. Annie Liu
Pilaris Director of Surgery
Chief of Operations Canada
Board-Certified Dermatologist

“Hair health is an underappreciated and underserved area of our society, particularly for women. The ability to contribute to this important aspect of women’s health was a large reason why I chose to go to this area of dermatology. The impact I have on women’s lives and the renewed self-confidence inspires me to continue honing my craft and spreading the word that options exist for hair restoration.
As a board-certified dermatologist, I specialize in both medical and surgical hair restoration. I trained at Canada's top medical school and dermatology residency program (University of Toronto) and published extensively on dermatologic surgery in national and international medical journals. My passion lies in research and innovation, so I’m ecstatic to be a member of the dynamic Pilaris team that is changing the way dermatology is practiced. The patients we serve are wonderful to work with. My previous work earned several competitive national clinical scholarships across the US and Europe, which I’ve used to enhance my skill set. My mission every day is to provide the highest quality, patient-focused care in every encounter.”
